so many blogs

I have a journal at deviantart.com a blog at myspace.com and now my husband has convinced me to have a blog here. so many blogs! i'll never keep up. which one do i write at? should i write the same thing at all three so that my faithful servants.... i mean fans don't miss anything? is anyone actually going to read this stupid thing anyway?

okay, first rantings.

as all of you pagans out there know, mabon falls on sept 23rd this year and i've decided to host a gathering at my home. i've invited several pagans and a few non pagan family members.. which i have to be very careful about since one side of my husband's familiy can't find out... they'd blow a gasket and we'd forever be shunned and our souls wept over. anyway... we're mostly going to eat and talk and one person wants to lead a small ritual. non pagans that i've invited are my sister in law, my brother in law and my cousin in law. everyone seemed really cool and open about everything but wait long enough and you'll always live to regret expecint openmindedness from people. my brother in law made the comment to his mother that he was afraid we would sacrifice him instead of the goat. (no.. there's no goat. no sacrifices at all.. he was just being a smart ass) this concerns me because if he's going to come then he needs to have respect for other people's beliefs and i don't want him offending anyone else that's going to be there. my sister in law... i didn't think she was very christian at all but my other sister in law mentioned to her that she wanted me to read her tarot cards and the response was, "won't you go to hell for that?". i ask, why agree to come if you have that kind of mindset?

you know the problem with monotheistic religions? they all think they're right, they're the only ones who are right and anyone else is going to hell. jews, christians, muslims.. they all worship the same god and yet thing that each other is slime and doomed to a firey eternity in the afterlife. for thousands of years there have been genocides, persecutions, bigotry, hate crimes in the name of God. Hitler believed he was appointed by God and was creating God's perfect race. he killed jews, gypsies, old and young.. the atrocities brought upon the world with this ego trip were enormous. Does anyone see the similarities with the current US leader? appointed by God? hummmm? dictator? hummmm? well... i'll just let all ye god fearing people fight amongst yourselves. eventually you'll all kill each other off and the rest of us can say good riddence.
